Use SMTP on LOCALHOST on OS X

Using ActionMailer? Using OS X? Want to use SMTP via localhost. Its good right?

I tried this afternoon and postfix just wasn't playing friendly.

I got 0 errors, but mail wasn't being sent. The problem was, postfix isn't configured to send out of the box for Os X.

Hi,

My postfix works when I'm on ethernet at work, but not when I'm wireless (Airport) at home. Could the configuration at the link you included help me? Was this the problem you were having?

Wierd, no my problem was that Postfix wasn't turned on be default in Tiger.
