Refresh Richmond Talk

Tonight I gave a talk on Javascript Libraries at Refresh Richmond. I described what they are and why they're so useful. It went pretty well. I was worried that I'd shoot over a lot of people's heads, but from the people I talked to, it was right on point.

I fielded a ton of questions and got the feeling I introduced a lot of people to Prototype, Scriptaculous, and the idea of javascript libraries in general.

If you came to the talk and are looking for more information, I've posted some links below.

  1. My boys up in Richmond are starting a Richmond Ruby Brigade - you should look them up if you're interested...

  2. Yah, we met last week. We're ironing everything out now. It's getting exciting.

  3. Yeah, for the record, we started the Central Virginia Ruby Enthusiasts' Group
